Your Power Genius devices should synchronize with the dashboard every five minutes or less.

The dashboard will not show current information for a device if it is not connected to the network. The Gateway device is connected to the network using an ethernet cable connected to your WiFi router or a WiFi extender. All other devices are connected wirelessly through the Gateway.
None of the devices are updating
For the case where the Gateway is not connecting to the internet none of the Power Genius devices will have been updated on the dashboard.
i) Check that your internet is working at the site where PowerGenius is installed
ii) Check that the Power Genius Gateway is plugged into your home network router or Wifi
iii) Unplug both Power Genius cables from the Wifi or Internet router, wait for a few seconds and then plug both cables back in.
iv) Login to your Power Genius dashboard and check to see if the dashboard has updated.
v) If the dashboard has not updated after ten minutes, or this problem recurs please contact Power Genius.
Gateway is updating but one or more other devices is not updating
Where there is a problem with only one, or some Power Genius devices not updating there may be a signal strength problem between a Power Genius device and another device. Even for installations that have been functioning without any problems the signal strength between devices can be impacted by other electrical noise. Baby monitors and chordless phones that have not been certified for electrical noise can cause problems.
To try and resolve the problem you can try the following. Check to see if communication has been restored after each step.
- Turn off any baby monitors and chordless phones to identify whether they are causing a problem
- Power down the device that is causing a problem for ten seconds and power it back up again
- Relocate the Gateway device so that it is closer to other wireless devices. This may be done using a Wifi extender.
If you still cannot get a device to connect you may need a repeater or a different aerial on one of the Power Genius devices.
If you already have a repeater or an aerial try relocating or repositioning it.
